What is this paint roller suitable for?

You can use it to work on various surfaces such as plaster, exposed brickwork, concrete or wooden panels. The paint roller is also used for protective coats with primers and for applying roller plaster.

With its handy size of 18 cm, this painting tool is the ideal size for working with our high-quality MissPompadour wall paints. As these are creamier and therefore slightly heavier than conventional paints, working with a smaller roller is easier. Last but not least, this paint roller can be used to apply non-woven wallpaper paste evenly to the wall when wallpapering.

How to use the paint roller?

Be sure to wash out the paint roller before using it for the first time and squeeze out any excess water. This removes production-related fluff and improves the paint absorption of the Roller from the outset.

Then stir the paint well after opening the container so that the pigments can spread evenly. Then pour as much paint into your paint tray as the deepest part of the tray can hold. Now moisten the paint roller for wall paints carefully from all sides. Then paint the roller several times over the hatched area of the tray. Once the paint roller has absorbed enough paint, start applying the paint. To do this, roll the paint roller onto the surfaces using diagonal movements until everything is covered in paint. Allow the surfaces to dry and then apply a second coat of paint. This will give you a perfect and even application of paint on the wall or ceiling.

If you want to interrupt the painting process, you can wrap the roller airtight in cling film and continue painting the next day. When you have finished, the pile material of the wall paint roller can be easily washed out with hot water.
