How it works
Tips & tricks for painting furniture
- Always remove the adhesive tape while the varnish is still damp.
- Scratches and imperfections in your furniture can be repaired beforehand with our filler.
- On smooth surfaces such as laminated furniture, plastic veneer or metal furniture, use our To Bond & Block primer to ensure a good paintable surface and perfect adhesion.
- For light colour shades on real wood, pre-paint with our To Bond & Block primer to avoid stains in the new coat
Painting furniture: How-to
This makes painting furniture very easy:
- Clean the furniture thoroughly and wipe with clean water.
- Mask off everything that is not to be painted.
- Stir the varnish well and pour it into a paint tray.
- Paint the colour quickly and evenly. Prepare corners and edges with a brush. Paint surfaces with a roller.
- After 4 - 6 hours drying time, apply the 2nd coat.
