Application recommendations:
Surface application for protection
- After painting with matt chalk paint or on untreated wood surfaces.
- Preparation: The surface must be dry, clean and free of dust and grease. Sand wooden surfaces with sandpaper to achieve the desired finish
- Waxing: Waxes work differently on different surfaces. We recommend a test application. Apply the wax thinly with a wax brush or cloth and leave to dry. Once completely dry, the surface can be polished with a soft cloth
Accentuating and emphasising details
- Preparation: The surface must be dry, clean and free of dust and grease.
- Waxing: If details are to be emphasised or accents set, priming with the colourless wax is helpful before working with coloured wax. To achieve the desired effect, we recommend working out the theme and trying out a little first. To create a special depth effect with ornaments, for example, you can emphasise the depths with a dark wax and the heights with a lighter wax.
