Instructions

  1. Masking (optional) & cleaning. Remove dust, dirt & loose layers of paint from the substrate. Touch up imperfections with filler. Mask off everything that is not to be painted. Please note that the preparation always differs depending on the project.

  2. Carefully open the tin. Carefully remove the clips on the lid with our paint can opener or use a spatula or screwdriver. Bend the clips away from the bottom upwards. If you bend the clips away from the top of the can, they will pop less. Please note that the clips are under tension and hold your hand over them when removing them. To open the can, it is best to use a paint can opener.

  3. Stir. Stir the paint carefully.

  4. Pour the paint into the paint tray. Pour a little into the paint tray. Do not work directly out of the can to keep the can contents clean.

  5. Wet the roller. Then wet the roller all round and roll it out slightly in the tray. Make sure that the roller is completely and sufficiently wetted with the paint. It should no longer have any dry patches.

  6. Apply The Functional Wall Paint & allow to dry thoroughly. Apply the paint generously and evenly. For decorative mouldings and narrow areas, use our small pink brush and work in immediately with the roller. Depending on the colour shade and substrate, several coats may be necessary. Observe the recommended drying time.
