To change the colour of your archway, create a design highlight by choosing an interesting colour. Emphasise the inside of the door arch with a strong colour. You can also make your archway an eye-catcher by adding a 5 cm wide frame around the outside of the arch.

As with all crafts, prepare yourself well for the work and have all the necessary things ready
When painting a round arch, the preparatory work with pencil and tape is particularly important, so in addition to brush and paint, also provide the drawing utensils. This includes a drawing pin/nail and hammer, a string with pencil, a spirit level and masking tape.

Remove the tape when the paint is still wet.
Drive a nail at the highest point of your archway, attach one end of a piece of string to a pencil and the other end to the nail and follow the curve with the pencil.

How can I use a painted Arch Wall afterwards?
One possibility is to use the round arch as a background for a coat rack. You can also mount a shelf with boards cut in different lengths in front of the arch. Then paint the shelves in the same colour as the background
Simply use the round arch as the head of the bed. For a wide bed, paint two arches, for a narrower one, paint a single large arch. In the living room, you can also paint a round arch on the wall. There it is suitable as an accent for the armchair, above the door or for a photo wall.
Can I also paint a round arch over a door or window?
You also have the option of colouring a window and door arch. If the ceilings are high enough, this can have a great effect, especially if you paint the door or window frame in the same colour as the arch
