The Easy Eggshell! is our all-rounder for you. It creates soft, silky matt, smooth and hard-wearing surfaces and can be used not only indoors but also outdoors. The Easy Eggshell! also saves you the hassle of sanding. You can simply start painting on many surfaces; for smooth or bleeding surfaces, simply prime first with our bond and stainblock To Bond & Block

During development, it was important to us that you can simply paint. This means: the varnish is low-drip and hardly smells, is highly opaque and has a long open time. When dry, it is impact and scratch-resistant and can be cleaned easily. The Easy Eggshell! is available in over 100 colour shades from the Just paint Collection - so you're sure to find the colour you want!

You can of course apply the varnish with one of our great brushes. This will give you an even surface without smear marks. A paint roller is ideal for larger surfaces. If you are painting large areas such as a garden fence or several doors, the Easy Eggshell! can also be applied with a paint sprayer. In this case, you should dilute the paint colour with approx. 15 % water. We recommend 2 coats to ensure that the varnish develops its full durability and colour depth

Sustainable painting with the Easy Eggshell!

Our high-quality varnish is also characterised by its focus on low levels of harmful substances. We are always looking for ways to reduce the use of VOCs and preservatives without compromising on stability and application. This not only benefits the environment, but also you: You can apply the Easy Eggshell! varnish beautifully inside your home. It does not release any toxins into the environment during application or drying. Like all products from MissPompadour, the Easy Eggshell! is of course water-based

We also emphasise short distances to save CO2. That's why The Easy Eggshell! is made in Germany

How to use the Easy Eggshell!

Painting tiles

Tiles are no problem for our all-rounder. Whether it's wall tiles in the bathroom, on the floor or a tiled splashback in your kitchen - Der Varnishes! beautifies everything

Before painting tiles, you should clean all surfaces thoroughly. Old limescale, soap or grease residue must be completely removed. Use MissPompadour To Clean for this

Was silicone used as the grouting material for your tiles? The paint will roll off silicone, but this is also no problem with MissPompadour Paint: pre-paint silicone joints with To Seal Silicone.

Then apply a coat of MissPompadour To Bond & Block. This primer ensures that your coating adheres well to the smooth surface. Once the primer has dried, apply two coats of Easy Eggshell!

For particularly exposed tiles on the floor or behind the shower, as well as the tiled splashback in the kitchen, we recommend applying a final topcoat to your tile paint to make it even more durable. MissPompadour To Seal is perfect for this

Repainting kitchen cabinets - no problem

Easy Eggshell! is a great way to paint your kitchen cabinets. And you can do this not only on wooden fronts, but also if they have a plastic veneer, such as high-gloss surfaces

Thorough cleaning of all surfaces is particularly important in the kitchen. If you have a wooden kitchen, you can then apply Easy Eggshell! without primer. For plastic surfaces, a primer coat of To Bond & Block is necessary to ensure that your varnish adheres well to the smooth surface

As kitchen cabinets are opened and closed every day and are also cleaned repeatedly, we recommend an additional topcoat of our To Seal

The Easy Eggshell! for upcycling wooden furniture

If you want to change a piece of furniture, you can often achieve the greatest effect with wood varnish. It goes without saying that our varnish is perfect for all wooden surfaces - from wooden objects such as wooden furniture to wooden children's toys. You can also use it to embellish stairs or wooden panels on walls and ceilings

If your furniture has already been painted, you can simply paint over it with Easy Eggshell! as long as the old varnish is still intact. Only if the old paint is already peeling or crumbling should you sand it off

If an old piece of furniture has noticeable stains or discolouration, we recommend using MissPompadour To Bond & Block first. This stain block prevents the stains from bleeding through into the new colour. It also makes sense to apply a primer to highly absorbent, untreated wood. This closes the pores of the substrate in advance and the wood absorbs less paint

Simply paint metal, glass and high-gloss surfaces

Very smooth surfaces such as high-gloss kitchen fronts or even glass can also be treated with this varnish. However, this all-rounder can be used just as well on metal. Have you ever thought about giving your fridge a whole new look? That's no problem with Easy Eggshell!

Here too, it is important to use our To Bond & Block primer to ensure good adhesion
