MissPompadour Brown with Black

Brown with Black is a typical Nearly Black colour shade. If you are planning a black coat of paint, whether for a front door, garden shed or fence, this black, softened by brown pigments, is a good choice. Its effect is not as harsh as a clear black. If you want to paint a piece of furniture, you can achieve a particularly impressive effect with this soft shade of black.

The "almost black" of Brown with Black is particularly recommended for the design of a single wall. You will find that Brown with Black provides a particularly attractive background for pictures. This applies to modern art as well as classic pictures in gold frames. It is best to combine the deep colour shade with light white shades on the other walls. Otherwise, you can use strong colours such as orange, pink or a bright blue on home textiles. Brown with Black goes well with many other colour shades.

The tiled splashback behind the cooker or sink is not always enough to keep out everything that splashes. Sometimes things spill elsewhere in the kitchen. The Functional Wall Paint:	MissPompadour The Functional Wall Paint! is our matt, extremely hard-wearing wall paint. This diffusion-open paint with acrylate-based binders is similar to a latex paint. It is wet-washable and resistant to wet abrasion (class 1). Surfaces painted with it are resistant to water-soluble cleaning agents and disinfectants. The Functional Wall Paint is easy to apply and VOC free. However, its fantastic colour brilliance is particularly impressive. It is also easy to paint over again. This paint can be used to attractively design extremely hard-wearing walls in both private and professional areas. Preparation and application: Stir the paint well and apply at temperatures from 8 °C. The paint is applied to plaster and textured wallpaper using a roller and brush. Spraying is possible, however, depending on the spray gun used, varying degrees of dilution may be necessary. Always apply 2 coats of paint so that the colour can fully develop its opacity. Coverage: 1 litre of The Functional Wall Paint is sufficient for approx. 7 m2 with two coats. Coverage and coverage depend on the condition of the substrate. Drying time: Dust-dry after 1 hour - can be painted over after 6 hours. Can be firmly wiped off after approx. 28 days. Shelf life: At least 24 months in unopened packaging when stored in a cool and frost-free place. Once the packaging has been opened, the paint may spoil due to bacteria and mould on the outside. Please ensure clean storage in order not to impair the shelf life. Dilute: Our paint is ready to use. Returns
Sometimes it happens that the colour is more plentiful than you thought. If you have unopened tins that you want to send back to us, simply contact our customer service team within 14 days of receiving the goods. Please note that you will be responsible for the return costs, as we try to minimise returns for reasons of sustainability.

Water-based
All our colours, varnishes and additional products are water-based. For you, this means that you can easily wash them off your hands, brushes and rollers with water.

For a stable paint and varnish finish, you don't have to use paints with solvents that are harmful to the environment and your health. How do I use The Functional Wall Paint?

Stir the paint carefully after opening the tin so that the pigments are evenly distributed. Then pour some of the paint into a paint tray that matches the width of your paint roller. Apply the wall paint to the wall with even wet-on-wet movements. Make sure that the roller is always well filled with paint. Use a brush to paint any areas that you cannot reach with the paint roller. We recommend that you always apply 2 coats, even if the wall paint covers the first time. Only then will you get the perfect finish and vibrant depth of colour.

Tip: While you interrupt your work, you can wrap your tools in cling film. This will keep everything moist until the second coat.

If you are painting very large areas and empty rooms, you can also work with a paint sprayer. To do this, dilute the paint with approx. 10 % water.

When do I need to prime The Functional Wall Paint?

In most cases, you will achieve a perfect result with the second coat, as The Functional Wall Paint has a high covering power. However, priming is necessary on some walls. For example, walls in old buildings may have old stains from soot or ink. Pre-paint these with our MissPompadour Primer - To Bond & Block. It effectively locks in odours and stains. If you are painting a highly absorbent surface such as plasterboard, we recommend preparing the wall beforehand with our MissPompadour - To Prime Walls wall primer.
