Paint windows

• Always remove the adhesive tape while the varnish is still damp.
• You can repair holes and imperfections in the window frame beforehand with our filler.
• On plastic window frames, use our To Bond & Block primer to ensure a good paintable surface and perfect adhesion.
• For light colour shades on real wood, pre-paint with our To Bond & Block primer to avoid stains in the new coat
• Ideally, also mask the seal on the window glass, as this is usually not paintable.

Painting your window frames is simple with these steps:

• Clean the window frames thoroughly and wipe them down with clean water.
• Mask off anything you don't want to paint.
• Prime with To Bond & Block.
• Stir the paint well and pour it into a paint tray.
• Apply the paint quickly and evenly. Use a brush to work into corners and edges, then paint the larger areas with a roller.
• After 4-6 hours of drying time, apply the second coat.
• After 14 days, the paint will have fully cured and be completely durable.
