Attractive & waterproof finish for wood:
MissPompadour To Stain - Wood Stain Green

This wood stain creates a silky matte, velvety soft wood surface and preserves the grain of wood. The stain also offers wood protection against weather influences and cleaning agents. You determine the intensity and opacity of the colour shades yourself: The more layers of wood stain, the stronger the colour shade will be.

Wood stains for indoors and outdoors

MissPompadour To Stain - Wood Stain Green is a water-based wood stain. Use this wood stain outside or inside the house. It is weatherproof and UV-resistant. The quick-drying wood stain is easy to apply and suitable for all types of domestic wood. A test coat is recommended for tropical woods.

Low odour & drip-free

Masking and covering the entire home as the first step in varnishing or painting completely outside? Nope - with our low-odour and splash-proof stains, you can paint your floors and furniture without spilling.

Stains are available in white, grey and green.

Perfect wood protection with many application options

MissPompadour To Stain - Wood Stain Green is suitable for many applications inside the home. Stain can be used to treat wooden ceilings, exposed beams, wall panels, doors and window frames, for example. You can use To Seal to provide additional protection for interior surfaces subject to wear and tear. In any case, the wood structure and grain are retained. Paint wooden garden furniture, the beams of your pergola or a garden shed outside in the garden and on the patio with our Wood stains. The garage door, larch front door and window frames or shutters in outdoor areas are also protected by the Wood stains

MissPompadour To Stain: Bee & environmentally friendly

Like all MissPompadour products, MissPompadour To Stain - Wood Stain Green is water-based, low-odour and sustainable. This is not only good for people, but also for the natural environment. This means that neither bees nor other insects and birds suffer in the garden. You can also use the stain for birdhouses and nesting boxes, and even for beehives. The only exception is the use in organic apiaries.

Questions & answers about wood stains by MissPompadour

What is the difference between Wood stains and Wood varnish?

With a Wood stain, you can achieve a non-opaque yet even coat that does not hide the lively and natural look of wood. However, the colour pigments in the stain give the wood a different colour and can therefore also be changed stylistically. The surface continues to shine through, the stain is silky matt and protects against external influences such as weather, dirt and cleaning agents.

Wood lacquer, on the other hand, forms an opaque, pigmented layer on the surface of the wood. This changes the colour of the wood and the wood structure is no longer visible. Depending on the varnish quality, the surface becomes silky gloss or matt. Some wood varnishes also offer wood protection against weathering in outdoor areas.

MissPompadour Wood stains can be refreshed at any time later if necessary or painted over with water-based varnish.

How do I use MissPompadour To Stain - Wood Stain Green inside?

MissPompadour To Stain is low-odour, water-soluble and low-VOC. The stain also dries extremely quickly. After cleaning, it should be applied 1-2 times when used for wood indoors. There should be a drying time of 4 hours between the first and second coat. Intermediate sanding may be necessary on untreated wood.

How do I use MissPompadour To Stain - Wood Stain Green on the outside?

We recommend 3 coats for exterior areas. As To Stain dries very quickly, up to 3 coats can be applied per day. This is favourable for outdoor areas, as you can make perfect use of a day with good weather

Is the stain UV-resistant?

Yes, MissPompadour To Stain - Wood Stain Green does not fade even in strong sunlight

Can I also apply wood stain on wood that has already been painted?

No, lacquered wood must be sanded down. However, coats of our stain can simply be painted over with water-based wood varnish

Can I also seal the stain to make it more resilient?

Yes, with the additional topcoat, you can also use the stain to design more heavily used surfaces. Indoors, use MissPompadour To Seal for this.

What tools do I need to apply the stain?

Of course, you need the right tools to achieve a good result. We have therefore put together a selection of high-quality tools for you. From masking tape with natural rubber to our environmentally friendly, plastic-free paint trays and our pink MissPompadour paintbrushes - you'll find everything you need to make your painting projects easy. :)
