MissPompadour White with Powder
White with Powder is a shade of white with a tiny hint of rosé. This is developed from a soft terracotta tone and is almost not perceived as a colour. White with Powder is the perfect addition if you want to use red tones. If you want to give your bathroom a light but not overly intense feminine touch, this white is a great tile colour that men will also like.
With its few rose-coloured pigments, this white on the wall conjures up a cheerful atmosphere in any room. White with Powder is the perfect addition if you have used a shade of red as an accent colour on a wall in the room. It goes perfectly with Red with Raspberry, but also with the slightly more intense Red with Flamingo. White with Powder even harmonises very well with the deep, dark Red with Merlot thanks to its red pigments. You can also combine this friendly white with light shades of grey. Why only almost? We advise against using our Easy Eggshell! on patio tiles. As a water-based varnish, it is not suitable for horizontal surfaces on which standing water collects
How to use the varnish
Clean your workpiece thoroughly with a gentle cleaner such as MissPompadour To Clean
Stir the varnish carefully after opening the can so that the pigments are evenly distributed. Then pour some of the varnish into a paint tray. Now apply the varnish evenly and not too thickly using a brush or varnish roller. For large surfaces such as wooden ceilings or garden sheds, you can also work with a paint sprayer. Dilute the varnish with a maximum of 15% water. Leave the varnish to dry for approx. 4 hours or overnight. Then apply a second coat of paint. We recommend that you apply 2 coats in any case, even if the varnish covers the first time. This makes the colour layer thicker and longer-lasting!
Tip: Wrap the paint tray, varnish brush and roller in cling film during the drying break. This will keep everything moist until the second coat
When do I need to prime or seal?
In most cases, you can achieve a perfect result with our Easy Eggshell! alone - without priming or sealing. As a rule, you can simply paint over old paintwork without sanding if the old layers of paint are still sufficiently stable and not high-gloss
However, a primer is sometimes necessary. To Bond & Block is perfect for many substrates. Use it to prime stained, discoloured wood or wood with lots of knotholes to create an even surface for the varnish. As a stainblock, it provides protection against bleeding wood
If you want to work on very smooth surfaces made of glass, tiles or plastic, you should also prime with To Bond & Block so that the paint can adhere well. The same applies to unpainted metal. If it is raw iron or rusty metal, remove the rust thoroughly and use a rust protection primer before priming.
If you want to paint silicone joints in the bathroom or kitchen, prime them in advance with To Seal Silicone, otherwise the paint will not adhere to silicone. Then apply a coat of To Bond & Block. The varnish can then adhere well to the prepared surface
You should finish off the coating of very hard-wearing interior surfaces such as floors and bathroom tiles, steps, work surfaces or similar with our To Seal topcoat
| The Easy Eggshell!: | The Easy Eggshell! by MissPompadour is a water-based, soft satin matt lacquer for indoor and outdoor use with excellent coverage. It is suitable for working on tiles, metal, stone, plastics and, of course, wood indoors and outdoors. With the Easy Eggshell! you can achieve a smooth, easy-care surface that is pleasant to the touch. Preparation and use: Stir varnish well and apply at temperatures from 7 °C. Pre-treat raw iron and rusty metal (sand off rust spots) with rust protection primer and then prime with To Bond & Block. Remove flaking old paint. The substrate must be free of dust and grease. If the substrate is smooth, bleeding or stained, prime with the MissPompadour To Bond & Block adhesion and stain block. Use the fine MissPompadour brush or a varnish roller. Spraying is possible after dilution with 15 % water. Coverage: 1 litre of Easy Eggshell! is sufficient for approx. 10 m2 with a double coat. Coverage and coverage depend on the condition of the substrate Drying time: Dust-dry after 1 hour - can be painted over after 4-5 hours - cured after approx. 14 days Shelf life: In unopened packaging at least 24 months if stored in a cool and frost-free place. Store tightly closed and clean so as not to impair the shelf life Dilution: Our varnish is ready to use, if necessary dilute with 5% water for brush and roller application. MissPompadour The Easy Eggshell: Harmful to aquatic organisms, with long-lasting effects. Contains a reaction mixture of 5-chloro-2-methyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one and 2-methyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one (3:1), as well as 1,2-benzisothiazol-3(2H)-one. May cause allergic reactions. Ensure thorough ventilation during processing and drying. Do not allow to enter sewage systems, bodies of water, or soil. Only dispose of containers that are completely empty for recycling. Liquid material residues should be taken to a collection point for waste paint. Clean tools immediately after use with water and soap. VOC: EU limit value for this product (product category A/d): 30 g/l (2010). This product contains a maximum of 30 g/l VOC.
Safety: Keep out of reach of children. For spraying work, wear protective goggles and a combined A2/P2 filter. For sanding work, use a P2 dust filter. In case of contact with eyes or skin, rinse immediately and thoroughly with water. If medical advice is needed, have the packaging or label at hand. Returns
Sometimes it happens that the colour is more plentiful than you thought. If you have unopened tins that you want to send back to us, simply contact our customer service team within 14 days of receiving the goods. Please note that you will be responsible for the return costs, as we try to minimise returns for reasons of sustainability.
Water-based
All our colours, varnishes and additional products are water-based. For you, this means that you can easily wash them off your hands, brushes and rollers with water.
Minimal VOC content
For a stable paint and varnish finish, you don't have to use paints with solvents that are harmful to the environment and your health. Apply our paints without additional protective measures - because while the varnishes contain the lowest possible amount of VOCs, our wall paints are even VOC-free.
