Door Painting Kit with Easy Eggshell!
Making your doors look as good as new doesn’t have to be difficult! We’ve put together everything you need to repaint your doors. Simply choose your desired colour and work out the size of the area to be painted.
The set is available in 3 sizes:
- Small, for up to 2 doors (painted on both sides)
- Medium, for up to 4 doors
- Large, for up to 8 doors
The figures are based on one door (90 x 200 cm) including the door frame, painted on both sides. We estimate a surface area of approx. 5 m².
Simply prime instead of sanding: To Bond & Block
With To Bond & Block, you can prepare your door perfectly for painting: if it’s made of smooth plastic or metal, it ensures that the paint adheres well without the need for sanding. If it’s made of wood, To Bond & Block acts as a stainblock, preventing bleeding.
Durable & easy to apply – Easy Eggshell!
With Easy Eggshell!, you can create a soft, silk-matt finish that’s very hard-wearing and easy to maintain. Its high coverage and optimal consistency ensure drip- and splatter-free application that’s simply a pleasure. It’s water-based and low-emission in accordance with VdL-RL 01, and with its wide range of stunning colours, it’ll also enhance the look of your doors!
What’s included in the set
Depending on the set size, you’ll always receive the right amount of primer and paint, plus the essential tools. These products are included:
- To Bond & Block
- Easy Eggshell!

Quick guide: How to paint your doors
1. You can either take the door off its hinges or leave it in them – it’s easier to paint a door lying flat, but that isn’t always possible. With our drip-free products, painting whilst the door is still on its hinges is no problem!
2. Clean the door thoroughly and wipe it down with clean water. You only need to sand areas where the old paint is already flaking off. Once everything is dry, mask off any areas that are not to be painted, if necessary.
3. Stir To Bond & Block thoroughly and apply a generous, well-covering coat. Leave the primer to dry for 3 hours if using it as a primer. If using it as a stainblock, wait 8 hours. Has the primer discoloured? If so, apply a second coat.
4. Stir the paint thoroughly and pour it into a paint tray. Apply the paint quickly and evenly. Pre-paint corners and edges with a brush. Use the roller to paint the larger surfaces. After 4–6 hours’ drying time, apply the second coat.
5. After 14 days, the paint will have cured and will be fully load-bearing.
