For Stencilling: The 16mm Stencil Brush

If you want to work with stencils, you'll definitely need a suitable stencil brush. These special brushes are round with bristles cut straight across. This creates a smooth surface that picks up the paint and acts like a stamp. Before pressing the stencil onto your project surface, lightly load your MissPompadour stencil brush with as little paint as possible. This prevents excess paint from seeping under the stencil and spoiling your design. Then, carefully dab the To Stencil brush onto the stencil at a right angle. This is how you transfer the design onto the surface.

To Stencil, 16mm, with natural bristles

The blunt, round 16mm To Stencil brush features a head of bleached natural bristles. They are very sturdy, ensuring they won’t bend whilst stencilling. Its ferrule is crafted from aluminium, holding the bristles securely in place. The handle, made of beech wood, is extremely sturdy despite its lightness and sits comfortably in your hand. You can easily clean the brush in a bucket of warm, soapy water, allowing it to be used time and time again. Naturally, all our brushes are manufactured in Germany.

These high-quality wax and stencil brushes are handcrafted in Germany by trained brushmakers and are designed to withstand the toughest conditions. The bristles are made from natural pig bristle. Despite the utmost care taken in their manufacture, it may happen – particularly during the first few uses – that the brush loses a few bristles or that bristles break off.
