The Functional Wall Paint focuses on stability and durability. As an impact- and abrasion-resistant wall paint, it resembles latex paint and is resistant to all kinds of soiling. Washable & stain-resistant
Dirt and stains can't harm it! The Functional Wall Paint has wet abrasion class 1, so you can easily wipe it off with a damp cloth. This is particularly advantageous for light colour shades. This robust hardwearing paint is ideal for your interior walls. The wall paint is scrub-resistant, impact-resistant, hard-wearing and also beautiful to look at.
Low odour & drip-free
The first step in painting is to mask and cover the whole flat? Nope - with our low-odour and splash-proof wall paints, you can paint without spilling on floors and furniture. That means "just paint".
Breathable paint
The Functional Wall Paint has a medium water vapour permeability (class V2), even though it is a hard-wearing paint. So despite the excellent robustness and wet abrasion resistance of Class 1, it is open to diffusion.

MissPompadour Yellow with Saffron
MissPompadour Yellow with Saffron is one of those beautiful spice tones that always create a cosy atmosphere in a room. If you're brave, you can use this gorgeous colour on all your walls. However, the room should not be too small and should have a bright white ceiling. This soft colour shade goes particularly well with dark wood furniture. A bold combination that takes away the sometimes too dignified character of antiques. The best way to combine this colour is with textiles in off-white aqua or petrol tones. But a deep Russian green also goes very well.

MissPompadour Gelb mit Safran as Varnish
The varnishes also come in two qualities. Whenever you want to achieve an extremely stable surface, the varnish quality Eggshell Varnish is the first choice. It gives surfaces a smooth, slightly glossy finish. This makes them easy to maintain and clean. Use Eggshell Varnish on kitchen furniture, paint your bathroom tiles or hallway floor with it. And use the varnish on children's room furniture or stairs. Eggshell Varnish is just as suitable for outdoors as it is for indoors.
The second varnish variant is MissPompadour Matt Varnish. With Matt Varnish you create matt, powdery-looking surfaces that are nevertheless very stable. This varnish variant is particularly suitable for wood and metal surfaces and is indispensable for a used look.
If you want to achieve a particularly calm surface appearance, use the fine MissPompadour brushes to apply our varnishes. And for larger surfaces we recommend the MissPompadour microfibre roller.
The environmental compatibility of MissPompadour Gelb mit Safran
In the production of our own MissPompadour paints, we have paid special attention to the issue of sustainability and carbon footprint. First of all, sustainable paint should have the longest possible life. Because having to paint less often is definitely environmentally friendly. That's why MissPompadour paints are characterised by special durability. In addition, our sustainable paints contain a large proportion of bio-based raw materials. And of course they do not contain any solvents. MissPompadour Gelb mit Safran is water-based in both qualities. Its binders are derived from plant-based raw materials that can regrow within the product's lifetime. The paint also has the lowest possible VOC value. We might even call it VOC-free, but we want to be honest. Because a very low VOC value is still necessary at the moment to make a longer storage possible. Returns
Sometimes it happens that the colour is more plentiful than you thought. If you have unopened tins that you want to send back to us, simply contact our customer service team within 14 days of receiving the goods. Please note that you will be responsible for the return costs, as we try to minimise returns for reasons of sustainability.
Water-based
All our paints, varnishes and additives are water-based. For you, this means that you can easily wash them off your hands, brushes and rollers with water. There are no toxic solvents that can cause unpleasant reactions
Minimum VOC content
For a stable varnish and wall paint, you don't have to use paints with solvents that are harmful to the environment and your health. Spread our paints without additional protective measures - because while the varnishes contain the lowest possible amount of solvents, our wall paints are even VOC-free

| Eggshell Varnish: | MissPompadour Eggshell Varnish is a silky matt, slightly shimmering varnish with convincing coverage and high durability. It is suitable for finishing tiles, metal, stone, plastics and of course wood indoors and outdoors. Eggshell Varnish produces a smooth, easy-to-clean surface that is pleasant to the touch. Eggshell Varnish appears a little brighter than Matt Varnish due to its smooth surface and stronger reflection of light. Questions & Answers
How do I use The Functional Wall Paint?
After opening the can, stir the paint carefully so that the pigments are evenly distributed. Then pour some of the paint into a paint tray that fits the width of your paint roller. Apply the wall paint wet-on-wet to the wall using even strokes. Make sure that the roller is always well filled with paint. Paint any areas you can't reach with the paint roller with a brush. We recommend that you apply 2 coats, even if the wall paint covers the first time. Only then will you get the perfect finish and luminous depth of colour.
Tip: You can wrap your tools in cling film while you interrupt your work. This will keep everything damp until the second coat.
If you are painting very large areas and empty rooms, you can also use a paint sprayer. To do this, dilute the paint with approx. 10 % water.
When do I need to prime The Functional Wall Paint?
Most of the time, you will achieve a perfect result with the second coat, because The Functional Wall Paint has a high covering power. On some walls, however, a primer is necessary. For example, walls in old buildings may have old stains from soot or ink. Pre-paint these with our primer MissPompadour - To Bond & Block. It effectively locks in odours and stains. If you are painting a highly absorbent surface such as plasterboard, we recommend that you prepare the wall beforehand with our Wall Primer MissPompadour - To Prime Walls.
What tools do I need to apply the varnish?
