MissPompadour - The Stencil
4 min reading time
This is how it works
1. The stencil has arrived
We recommend that you first make a cup of coffee or a nice cup of tea and start working in a relaxed way. You probably already have an idea of where you want the pattern to go. When working on the wall, it is very important to get a true horizontal line. It's best to work with a long spirit level and draw two light pencil lines to which you can apply the stencil.
2. Dabbing or rolling
Pour a little (!) colour into a plate and push the stencil brush vertically into it. In any case, the brush should not contain too much paint. Apply the paint to the stencil just as vertically. Make sure that the stencil is flush with the wall. Then pull the stencil vertically forwards off the wall to prevent the colour from smudging.
3. And ready..
That's all! MissPompadour wishes you much success!
Paint now with MissPompadour - The stencil
We know that many of you have been waiting impatiently for this. But now the wait is over: Our own stencil, the MissPompadour Stencil is here!
After carefully examining the range of stencils on the market, we decided that the best way to make the perfect stencil was to do it ourselves.
That's why the MissPompadour - stencil is now available
First of all, you certainly expect safe and practical handling. Our stencils are made of sturdy but flexible plastic. And - very importantly - this plastic is completely transparent. This allows you to keep perfect control of the colour application at all times during the printing process. Of course, the MissPompadour - Die stencil can be easily cleaned under running water. This gives you the opportunity to work with different colours and, of course, to use the print template again and again later. Just remember to clean the stencil before the colour has dried. Because as you know, once chalk-paint has dried, it sticks - and it sticks like a bomb.
Our designer has taken inspiration from all over the world. Be it the border on a frieze in a small French chateau or a tile pattern in a bar in Lisbon. The patterns were as varied as the inspirations. The idea for our Sidney design came to our designer when he saw a picture of the magnificent Sidney Opera House in a magazine. And when he read the fairy tale The Nightingale by Christian Andersen to his young daughter, he suddenly visualised the enchanting little bird in the Beijing stencil. As you can see, the names of our stencils are not chosen at random, but always tell you something about the spirit of the pattern. And you can now bring this spirit into your home.
You won't expect MissPompadour - Die stencil to come to you in a nice, high-quality package. By the way: These are only the first 12 motifs - we are currently working on the sequel..
Now let your imagination and creativity run wild!
